I hope this email finds you wrapped up in a cozy blanket, sipping on something warm as the leaves start to turn and the air gets crisp. Fall has always been a time of transformation for me, and this year, it’s taken on a whole new meaning.
So here’s the scoop: I ventured up into my attic not too long ago, rummaging through memories and dust bunnies when I stumbled upon an old manuscript of mine. It was like unearthing a treasure that I didn’t realize I had buried. The new title? Women Don’t Retire.Yes, you read that right.
It’s funny how life loops around because this book – written over ten years ago – is more relevant than ever in today’s whirlwind world. The themes of empowerment and self-discovery haven’t changed, but the backdrop sure has! It’s wild to see how our narratives thread through different times yet still hold true.
This gem is for all the incredible Women of Color out there navigating big changes – from leaving structured corporate gigs to exploring what comes next in their vibrant journeys. It’s about finding balance and diving into parts of yourself that might’ve taken a backseat while you were hustling hard in your career.
Exciting news – the revamped version will land on Amazon in early 2025! 📚
As I sit here at sixty (yep, the big 6-0!), it feels like I’m stepping onto a new stage – literally my third act. And let me tell you, it’s got me pondering all kinds of things about legacy and what we leave behind.
Speaking of legacies, I had an enlightening chat with Cat Stone from Third Age Mojo about transitions (you know we love that word!) and embracing our third age with gusto.
Each one of us is walking our unique path with wisdom to pass along, stories to share, laughs to be had, and maybe even a few secrets on how we keep our mojo working overtime 😉
So stick around for more musings on transitions as we all tap into that third age magic together. ✨
Stay inspired,
